The Frozen River Trek or the Chadar trek is like no other trek in the Himalayas. The most difficult yet challenging trek in the World. Walking on a frozen river, a thick sheet of ice, with high mountains is a lifetime experience. Chadar trek is at an elevation of 11,150ft, the trail passes through the valleys, mountain caves, and frozen waterfalls. It is one of the longest trekking trails in the Himalayan region that covers an entire stretch of  90 kilometers in chilly 8-9 days. You will also spot some Himalayan Ladakhi animals like snow leopard, ibex, Himalayan Thar, blue sheep, etc. The trek will also give you a chance to explore the Ladakhi culture. January to February is the best and ideal time to undertake this adventure as the river gets frozen and forms a thick sheet of ice. Kang Yatse 2 Trek

Kang Yatse has an elevation of 6, 496m, is a mountain located in the end of Markha valley in the Himalayas in Ladakh. It is located in The Hemis National Park. the mountain has two main summits, one is the lower western peak which is the easier one and the other is the higher eastern peak which is the moderate one. The trek starts from Leh and gives a chance to explore the culture, Tibetan monasteries, during the days of acclimatization. You will pass by small hamlets that will take you inside Ladakhi culture as you gain higher altitude. The trail will take you to the grazing lands, small streams of river Markha. The scenic vistas and changing panoramic views will blow your mind and leave you breathless. You will also spot some Himalayan animals like Snow leopards, Arghali, mountain deer, etc. The trek is recommended to experienced trekkers.
